Wall of Memory

The Asquith Centennial Committee would like to dedicate a Wall of Memory to honor both past and present residents of the Asquith district who have contributed to our wonderful community. This community project is being conducted to commemorate Asquith’s 100th Birthday in 2008, proceeds will be going to a capital project within the Town of Asquith.

You and your family are invited to participate in this project by having your names engraved on a plaque that will be installed on the Wall of Memory fence that has been built in Burwell Park located on Main Street in the Town of Asquith.

Plaques will be engraved with your individual and/or family names (single family unit only). If your family has grown into many families, each family will be required to have their own plaque, but if you wish your plaques can be grouped together. If you would like this, please request so when submitting your applications, and please send them at the same time.

Plaques are silver with black printing, they are 5” by 8” in size, and cost $30. Please note that funds raised from this community project were used to offset the costs of the birthday celebration in July of 2008, and the remainder will be put into reserve for a capital project within the Town of Asquith. Please feel free to pass this information on to anyone you think we may have missed.

To apply, please print on a piece of paper your first and last name, your spouse’s name, and the names of your children.
