The Asquith Sportsground has three ball diamonds, a soccer field, a riding arena, a beach volleyball court and a booth/washroom. All venues of the Sportsgrounds are under the jurisdiction of the Asquith Recreation Board. All rental fees go back into recreation within the Town.
Rentals of the Sports Grounds:
A fee of $7.50 per participant/year will be charged for Minor Ball and Hardball to a maximum of $750.00 per year per association.
A fee of $7.50 per participant/year will be charged for Soccer, using sports ground soccer fields, to a maximum of $750.00 per year.
Sports Days and Special Events - $30.00 per day for each diamond used (local organizations exempt)
Booth Rental - $40.00 per day, all premises to be completely cleaned after use.
All fees and rental revenue go to the Asquith and District Recreation Board account to offset cost of improvements and maintenance of the sports grounds.
Beach Volleyball:
Special Events such as tournaments - $25.00 per day for use of the volleyball pit and nets. Volleyballs are not supplied.
Local persons/teams wishing to play are exempt from the rental charge. A deposit must be left for the net, which is refundable upon return of the net.
Booth Rental - $40.00 per day, all premises to be completely cleaned after use.

Riding Arena:
Building and Equipment will not be included in the rental. There is a rental fee for special events, such as a horse show, a clinic or rodeo, basically any event at which a fee is charged for those attending. There is no fee for practicing in the arena, however, should a group wish to have exclusive use during specific dates, they must book this with the town office and pay the rental fee.
Charge is $50.00 per day with a $100.00 refundable deposit to be refunded on cleanup and any damage repair. There will be a $75.00 charge for extra roto-tilling over and above normal maintenance for use. Rentals are to be booked at the Asquith town office, and rental fees must be paid prior to the use of the arena. Revenues go to the Asquith and District Recreation Board Account to offset costs of maintenance at the riding arena.
Rules:
Park trucks and trailers in designated areas (to the south of the arena only). Repair any holes dug by pawing. Kick manure piles apart or remove them totally. Do not ride through the trees, and stay off the ball diamonds and other recreation facilities with the horses. Please ensure the water is turned off. Outside power outlets at the booth will be locked.
Special Events Permits:
(Events with Alcohol Served) Request for special events permits requires the organization holding the event to purchase a special form of liability insurance purchased for such an event involving liquor (PAL Liability Insurance). As well, an officer of the association or group must sign a copy of the Facility Use & Indemnification Agreement (available at the town office).
All Users:
If there are maintenance items that need attention, please contact the Town Office. It is the responsibility of the group renting a facility to clean up after the event.
